MiLB.com called Jordan Renz’ May 15 outburst the best single-game performance this year in Single-A.

Minor League Baseball gave Kernels outfielder Jordan Renz an award for best single-game performance by a Class A player this year. On the road at Clinton on May 15, Jordan doubled in the first, then hit three homers and drove in ten runs.

What’s scary is that Cedar Rapids lost that game to the LumberKings, 18-14.

Jordan’s third homer was a grand-slam in the top of the 8th to score the Kernels’ final four runs of the game.
